Smart Talk Media's flagship is the Smart Talk Connected Conversations Series, the leading producer of women's programming through experiential events in premiere theaters across North America. It has produced more than 550 performances of the most influential women of our time in more than 20 cities over the past 15 years. Smart Talk provides inspirational, connected conversations that bring thought-leading individuals - from renowned entertainers, political figures and other accomplished women - to be heard from in ways they've never been heard from before.   • XCOR Aerospace



  • In August 2008, Desert Sky Holdings made a passive minority investment in XCOR Aerospace. The company was founded in 1999 and is located in Mojave,California. XCOR is leading the race to provide a low cost alternative to space flight with its safe, yet revolutionary, highly re-usable, reliable and light weight rocket propulsion systems. It recently held the first public flights of its second generation rocket-powered aircraft before crowds of over 100,000 in Oshkosh,WI. The firm is currently building its third generation vehicle called the Lynx, which will safely take two people to the edges of space, after a standard aircraft-like take off and return for a smooth landing. The Lynx, which will use environmentally sensitive fuels, and be capable of carrying paying customers or scientific payloads, is scheduled to make its first flight in 2010.

  • Founded in August 2006, 62 Mile Club's mission is to promote the commercial space industry to future customers, investors, the general high-end demographic, and space enthusiasts all over the world. Through the production of live events, it keeps the public aware of the latest trends and developments in this nascent industry. The name was inspired by the Karman line, the point of 62 miles above the earth's surface which is commonly used to define the boundary between the Earth's atmosphere and space.
